Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 50g xylitol or other low carb sugar
- 250g low fat quark
- 200g cream cheese
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 50g almond flour
- 15g vanilla protein powder
- 10 Cherries
Directions
- Step 1 Mix the eggs with the xylitol or your other low carb sweetener until creamy. Then add the cream cheese and the quark.
- Step 2 Then add the lemon juice, almond flour and protein powder.
- Step 3 Prepare a slightly smaller baking dish and grease it with butter before pouring the mixture into the dish.
- Step 4 Remove the pits from the cherries and spread them into the cake as desired.
- Step 5 Bake the cake for 30 minutes at 175 degrees Celsius. Let it cool a little before serving or eating it directly from the tin. You can sprinkle it with icing sugar before you bake it.
